Privacy Policy

Information you provide

The inquiry form collects your name, email, optional business name, optional phone number, business type, selected service, and optional project details. When you submit an inquiry, we use Resend to send it to BigByte and attempt an acknowledgment to your email address. The form displays its submission status.

Business communications and service delivery may also involve the information, logos, images, website content, and project instructions you provide. Please do not include passwords, payment card details, or other sensitive information in an inquiry. Submitting an inquiry does not obligate you to purchase.

How we use information

We use your information to respond by email, text, or phone as appropriate, discuss requirements, confirm scope and pricing, deliver agreed services, manage project communications, and address support or privacy requests.

You review and approve website content before launch. We may showcase completed website projects in our portfolio unless you request otherwise. You can opt out before publication or request removal afterward by contacting us. We do not publish confidential information. See our Terms of Service.

Hosting, email, and other providers

Hostinger hosts this BigByte Web Design marketing website and provides its hosting/CDN infrastructure. Separately, BigByte manages hosting for customer websites under the agreed package and hosting terms. Hosting involves processing the website files and technical information needed to operate the hosted website. Domain registration is separate. See our Terms of Service for hosting renewal, suspension, and website-file retention terms.

Resend processes inquiry email delivery, including the sender, recipient, and message content, and may retain delivery records under its practices. Our business mailbox and messaging providers process the communications they handle. Other project providers may process information needed to deliver the services you agree to.

Payment is arranged separately by invoice after consultation. This website does not collect or store card details. Payment providers process information under their own privacy practices.

Cookies, security records, and tracking

The enabled form sets an essential session cookie to protect submissions from forgery and repeated requests. It uses private security records containing keyed hashes, counters, submission status, and references rather than stored inquiry text or raw email/IP addresses. These records support rate limits and duplicate suppression.

The application does not use browser storage to save inquiry entries or include analytics or advertising scripts. Hosting/CDN infrastructure may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested pages, and request times, and may use security mechanisms to protect access. Its practices are separate from the application code.

The application does not track visitors across other websites or change its behavior in response to a Do Not Track signal. Links that open email, messaging apps, or other websites are handled by those applications and providers.

Retention, safeguards, and disclosure

We retain inquiry communications and project records as needed to respond, provide services, manage projects, and meet applicable obligations. Retention depends on the information and purpose; this policy does not promise a fixed deletion period. Hosting and email providers may retain their own operational or delivery records under their practices.

For customer websites hosted by BigByte, website files are retained for 30 days after suspension and may be permanently deleted after that period, subject to applicable law. This period applies to hosted website files, not inquiry submissions, email delivery records, or other project communications. It is not a backup or restoration guarantee.

We use safeguards appropriate to the information involved, including restricted private configuration and security storage. No electronic communication or storage system can guarantee complete security. We may disclose information to providers as needed for the agreed services or when required by applicable law.

Privacy requests

Email info@bigbyteit.com to ask about information you have provided, request a correction or deletion, raise a privacy concern, or request portfolio removal. We may need to confirm your identity and consider project or legal obligations before acting.
